11–14 June 2026, Putrajaya – The Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BPJPM) Table Tennis Team demonstrated strong determination and competitive spirit throughout its participation in the MAKSWIP Table Tennis Championship 2026, held over four days at the Presint 11 Community Sports Complex, Putrajaya.
During the group stage, the BPJPM team secured a commendable 3-2 victory against the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) (B) team. The team also delivered competitive performances against Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) (A) and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) (B), recording results of 0-5 and 1-4 respectively.
Overall, BPJPM concluded the tournament in third place within its group, reflecting the commitment, discipline and teamwork displayed by the players throughout the competition. The team’s performance highlighted the dedication of its members in representing the department in an inter-agency sporting event.
The management extends its congratulations and appreciation to all players and technical support personnel for their dedication and exemplary sportsmanship. Participation in the championship not only strengthened camaraderie among government agencies but also promoted a healthy lifestyle and fostered teamwork among public sector employees.
As part of its continuous improvement efforts, BPJPM remains committed to enhancing training programmes and team development initiatives to further strengthen the department’s table tennis squad and achieve even greater success in future competitions.
