5 May 2026, Putrajaya – The Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BPJPM) successfully organised the Malaysia MADANI Nationhood Course – Bicara Aku Kasih Malaysia at the Multipurpose Hall of the Protection Division. The programme was attended and officiated by the Director-General of the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department, Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid.
The successful organisation of this course was the result of the collective efforts of the coordination team from the National Civics Bureau / Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia (AKM) led by Ms. Nurhafiza binti Mohammad Fadzil, together with Ms. Siti Nuruain binti Abu, Assistant Director of AKM. The programme also received strong support from the MADANI Mobilisers (Sahabat Penggerak MADANI) comprising Mr. Mohd Aizal bin Halam Shah, Ms. Sarifah binti Halim, and Mr. Abdul Halim bin Ahmad.
Throughout the programme, participants attended several sessions focusing on nationhood, leadership and the appreciation of Malaysia MADANI values. Session 1 focused on strengthening nationhood elements to instil a strong sense of identity and patriotism among civil servants. Session 2 emphasised leadership with integrity to ensure that officers are able to carry out their responsibilities with trust and accountability in line with the nation’s administrative aspirations.
Session 3 provided comprehensive exposure to the Malaysia MADANI framework, enabling participants to better understand and internalise its core values in delivering more effective public services. The programme also began with the singing of the national anthem, Negaraku, and the recitation of the Rukun Negara pledge, which helped reinforce the spirit of unity and commitment to the nation’s fundamental principles.
The presence of Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid reflected the leadership’s commitment to ensuring that every member of BPJPM truly embraces the spirit of “Bicara Aku Kasih Malaysia.” This initiative is expected to further cultivate a workforce with strong character, integrity and competence in supporting the nation’s aspirations towards a more progressive, prosperous and resilient Malaysia.
