Outreach Program

Outreach Program aims to deliver to law enforcement agencies and the general public with respect to the Witness Protection Program established under section 3 of the Witness Protection Act 2009.

Explain the role and relationship of enforcement agencies to the Witness Protection Act 2009.

Disclosure regarding the existence of this Witness Protection Program to encourage and give confidence to the general public to come forward to help the authorities in combating and addressing the problem / crime violations of law without fear and worry about the safety

The focus of the Outreach Program is given to the enforcement agencies as they are more aware of the potential threats that may be addressed to witnesses in a case under investigation and inform the procedure for admission into the Witness Protection Program.

Outreach of the Witness Protection Program should also reach out to the general public so that they know the existence of the Witness Protection Program and give confidence to come forward to provide information on criminal conduct and become witnesses without worrying about their safety and welfare.
