Muar, 14 November 2024 - A total of two (2) senior officers and 13 members of the Operations Branch, Protection Division, Prime Minister's Department (BPJPM) were involved in the Closing Ceremony of the High Profile Witness Escort Course No. 4 Series 1/2024 completed by the Director General of BPJPM, YBrs. Tuan Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid at Battalion 6, General Operations Force, Bakri, Muar, Johor.
The main objective of the course is to give exposure to all BPJPM Operations Branch personnel so that they are always ready to face any unforeseen threats in addition to being able to improve their skills, knowledge and efficiency in carrying out the assignment of accompanying high-profile witnesses.
This course starts on November 2, 2024 until November 14, 2024, conducted by the Trainer of the Investigation Unit (UTK), Royal Malaysian Police, where throughout the course participants were exposed to the skills of handling firearms, basic first aid, techniques of accompanying witnesses in walking and driving formations, analyze the environment and identify threats.
The guests present were treated to a demonstration of saving witnesses from an attack during a walking formation and saving witnesses from a vehicular attack.
Also present were YDH SAC Mohd Faisal bin Yahya (BPJPM Deputy Director General), ACP Skandaguru Anandan (BPJPM Operations Branch Director), Supt. Mohd Haide bin A. Rahman (Director of the BPJPM Investigation Branch), DSP Al-Hafiz bin Mohd Khalid (representative of the UTK Commander), DSP Mohd All Amin Bin Zawawi (representative of the Commanding Officer of Battalion 6, PGA Bakri, Muar, Johor) as well as Officers and members from BPJPM, UTK and Battalion 6, PGA Bakri, Muar, Johor.
