Putrajaya, 13 October 2024 - The Dragon Boat Team of the Prime Minister's Department, JPM Paddlers, did not miss the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Water Sports Championship, which took place from October 11 to October 13, 2024, at the Water Sports Complex, Precinct 6, Putrajaya. JPM Paddlers sent one (1) men's team to compete.
Each player displayed determination and teamwork in the final match but had to concede to a stronger opponent team that included dragon boat athletes.
Nonetheless, congratulations are extended to the JPM Paddlers Team for their fighting spirit and high sportsmanship, despite having undergone training in a short period.
For next year's plans, the team will prepare early with more frequent training sessions to build a stronger team to provide tougher competition in future Water Sports Championships.
A heartfelt appreciation is extended to the Senior Management of BPJPM for their continued encouragement for BPJPM staff to participate in sports championships.
