High Profile Witness Accompanying Course No. 4 Series 1/2024

Muar, 14 November 2024 - A total of two (2) senior officers and 13 members of the Operations Branch, Protection Division, Prime Minister's Department (BPJPM) were involved in the Closing Ceremony of the High Profile Witness Escort Course No. 4 Series 1/2024 completed by the Director General of BPJPM, YBrs. Tuan Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid at Battalion 6, General Operations Force, Bakri, Muar, Johor.

The main objective of the course is to give exposure to all BPJPM Operations Branch personnel so that they are always ready to face any unforeseen threats in addition to being able to improve their skills, knowledge and efficiency in carrying out the assignment of accompanying high-profile witnesses.

This course starts on November 2, 2024 until November 14, 2024, conducted by the Trainer of the Investigation Unit (UTK), Royal Malaysian Police, where throughout the course participants were exposed to the skills of handling firearms, basic first aid, techniques of accompanying witnesses in walking and driving formations, analyze the environment and identify threats.

The guests present were treated to a demonstration of saving witnesses from an attack during a walking formation and saving witnesses from a vehicular attack.

Also present were YDH SAC Mohd Faisal bin Yahya (BPJPM Deputy Director General), ACP Skandaguru Anandan (BPJPM Operations Branch Director), Supt. Mohd Haide bin A. Rahman (Director of the BPJPM Investigation Branch), DSP Al-Hafiz bin Mohd Khalid (representative of the UTK Commander), DSP Mohd All Amin Bin Zawawi (representative of the Commanding Officer of Battalion 6, PGA Bakri, Muar, Johor) as well as Officers and members from BPJPM, UTK and Battalion 6, PGA Bakri, Muar, Johor.

 


 
"FUN RIDE & RUN" Cycling Session for BPJPM Staff in conjunction with National Sports Month 2024

Putrajaya, 17 October 2024 - The "FUN RIDE & RUN" cycling session for BPJPM staff in conjunction with National Sports Month 2024 was held in a lively manner at the Water Sports Complex, Precinct 6, Putrajaya. This program was organized by the BPJPM Welfare and Sports Club and officiated by the Director-General of BPJPM, YBrs. Tuan Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Director-General and various Branch Directors who came to enliven the occasion. This activity not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also strengthens the relationships among BPJPM staff in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.


2024 Water Sports Championships

Putrajaya, 13 Oktober 2024 - The Dragon Boat Team of the Prime Minister's Department, JPM Paddlers, did not miss the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Water Sports Championship, which took place from October 11 to October 13, 2024, at the Water Sports Complex, Precinct 6, Putrajaya. JPM Paddlers sent one (1) men's team to compete.

Each player displayed determination and teamwork in the final match but had to concede to a stronger opponent team that included dragon boat athletes.

Nonetheless, congratulations are extended to the JPM Paddlers Team for their fighting spirit and high sportsmanship, despite having undergone training in a short period.

For next year's plans, the team will prepare early with more frequent training sessions to build a stronger team to provide tougher competition in future Water Sports Championships.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended to the Senior Management of BPJPM for their continued encouragement for BPJPM staff to participate in sports championships.

 


Lunch Ceremony with the Director General in conjunction with the Birthday

Putrajaya, 14 October 2024 - A special gathering was held to celebrate the birthday of YBrs. Tuan Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid, Director General of the Protection Division, Prime Minister's Department. We wish YBrs. Tuan Khairul Anwar continued good health, lasting success, and excellence in leading this organization.


Courtesy Visit to Sg Lembing Museum in Kuantan, Pahang for BPJPM Outreach Program

Kuantan, 9 October 2024  BPJPM Outreach Program organized a courtesy visit to the Sg Lembing Museum in Kuantan. The visit introduced participants to the history of tin mining in Sg Lembing, which was once a major economic hub. Participants had the opportunity to view mining artifacts, tin mine tunnels, and listen to stories about local history. The program aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving historical heritage for future generations.
