BRIEFING AND TRAINING ON THE USE OF THE PRIMEDIC HEARTSAVE AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) (PORTABLE)

16 July 2026, Putrajaya – The Protection Division, Prime Minister's Department (BPJPM) successfully organised a Briefing and Training on the Use of the Primedic HeartSave Automated External Defibrillator (AED) (Portable) at the Multipurpose Hall of the Protection Division.

Held from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon, the programme aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and preparedness in responding to medical emergencies through the proper application of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques and the safe operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Throughout the session, participants received comprehensive briefings on the functions, operating procedures and importance of the Primedic HeartSave Portable AED as an essential first-response device for cardiac emergencies. Practical training was also conducted to provide participants with hands-on experience in performing CPR and operating the AED in accordance with established safety procedures.

The programme reflects BPJPM's continuous commitment to strengthening workplace safety and health by enhancing the emergency response capabilities of its personnel. Through initiatives such as this, the Division aims to develop a workforce that is better prepared, more confident and competent in providing immediate assistance during emergency situations.
