PARTICIPATION OF THE BPJPM E-SPORT TEAM (FC26 AND MLBB) IN THE MAKSWIP 2026 INDOOR GAMES E-SPORT CHAMPIONSHIP

5 April 2026, Putrajaya – The E-Sport Team of the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BPJPM), participated in the MAKSWIP 2026 Indoor Games E-Sport Championship under the FC26 and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) categories. The three-day tournament was held from 3 to 5 April 2026 at the Mezzanine Hall of the Public Service Department (JPA) and the Department of Statistics Malaysia, Complex C.
The participation of BPJPM in this championship reflects the department’s commitment to encouraging staff involvement in e-sports activities as a platform to strengthen teamwork, enhance competitiveness, and promote a healthy sporting culture.
For the FC26 category, the BPJPM team was represented by Togo, Blind, Alif and Syafiq. Meanwhile, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team consisted of Sparrow, Nesta, Mojo, Jerry and Casper.
Throughout the competition, the BPJPM teams demonstrated strong competitiveness during the group stage. In the FC26 category, Togo secured third place in the group, while Alif, Syafiq and Blind also delivered commendable performances by finishing fourth in their respective groups.
In the MLBB category, the BPJPM team recorded 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses during the group stage, reflecting strong determination and effective teamwork throughout the matches.
The management extends its heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all players for their dedication, discipline, and sporting spirit displayed during the championship. Their participation not only demonstrated the competitive spirit of BPJPM personnel but also strengthened camaraderie among members of the department.
Appreciation is also extended to the Team Manager and the technical team for their excellent management and support of the players throughout the tournament. Special thanks are also conveyed to BPJPM staff who came to show their support, further boosting the team’s sporting spirit.
