Putrajaya, 18 February 2025: A preliminary discussion with the Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister's Department (JPM) was held to discuss on the proposed amendments to the Witness Protection Act 2009 [Act 696]. This discussion aimed to review and refine the proposed amendments to enhance the effectiveness of Act 696 in providing protection to witnesses.
