BPJPM Bowling Tournament: Group 7 Crowned Champion with 1481 Pin Drops
Putrajaya, 9 August 2024 - The atmosphere was lively at Wangsa Bowl, IOI City Mall Putrajaya, at 3.00 this afternoon when a total of 48 members of the Protection Division (BPJPM) gathered to participate in the BPJPM Bowling Tournament 2024. This tournament was participated by various branches at BPJPM, at the same time making this competition not only a sporting activity, but also a platform to strengthen relationships between employees.
The main goal of this tournament is to encourage the involvement of BPJPM citizens in sports activities, in addition to fostering the spirit of cooperation and practicing a healthy lifestyle among BPJPM citizens. The tournament, which lasted for two hours, featured high sportsmanship from all the participants who competed in an atmosphere full of friendly competition.
Group 7 Won the Champion Title
The final results saw Group 7 crowned as champions with a total of 1481 pin drops. Not far behind, Group 12 won the runner-up with 1466 pin drops, while third place was won by Group 9 with 1431 pin drops.
In the individual category, Mr. Mohd Zhafran Arif bin Mohamad Kashim recorded the highest number of pin falls for male participants with 447 pin falls, while Mrs. Auni Fathiah binti Kamis topped the women's category with 433 pin falls. Both of these contestants performed at their best and received praise for their skills on the bowling alley.
The tournament ended successfully at 5.00 pm, with all participants satisfied and eager to continue supporting the sporting activities organized by BPJPM in the future. Activities like this are expected to continue to foster the spirit of cooperation among BPJPM citizens and improve the health and well-being of BPJPM citizens as a whole.
