Symbolic Event of Handover of the BPJPM Badminton Team Jersey: Preparation Towards Success at the 2024 MAKSWIP Badminton Competition
Putrajaya, 13 August 2024 – In a ceremony full of enthusiasm, the Protection Division Badminton Team (BPJPM) today officially received their team jerseys in a symbolic event held at the Director General's Discussion Room, BPJPM. This event marks the final preparation of the team before they perform at the MAKSWIP 2024 Badminton Competition arena which will take place from 15 to 18 August 2024.
The jersey handover ceremony was completed by BPJPM Director General, Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid, who expressed pride in the team that will represent BPJPM in the upcoming competition. A total of seven selected team members, have been trusted to carry the name of BPJPM in an effort to win the championship at the MAKSWIP level this time.
In his speech, the Director General said, "This jersey is not just a piece of clothing, but a symbol of commitment, hard work, and team spirit that all members have shown. I believe, with meticulous preparation and a high fighting spirit, this team is able to create success in Badminton MAKSWIP 2024."
This event was also attended by BPJPM officers and staff who came to provide moral support to the team. The atmosphere of the ceremony warmed up as the attendees were given the opportunity to interact with the players, who seemed full of enthusiasm and ready to face the challenges ahead.
The MAKSWIP Badminton Competition, which is one of the annual events that civil servants look forward to, will see teams from various agencies compete for the championship. With meticulous preparations and game strategies that have been compiled, the BPJPM Badminton Team is optimistic to give their best and bring home the victory.
