20 May 2026, Putrajaya – A synergy session between the Personnel Branch of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Headquarters, Bukit Aman, and the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BPJPM), was successfully held to strengthen the governance and management of PDRM secondment and attachment officers serving in BPJPM.
The strategic session was led by the Director-General of the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department, Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid, together with representatives from the PDRM Personnel Branch, Bukit Aman. The meeting reflected the continued commitment of both parties in enhancing human capital management and strengthening inter-agency cooperation among national security institutions.
Throughout the session, several important matters relating to performance monitoring systems, welfare, and career development pathways for Senior Police Officers and Junior Police Officers serving as secondment and attachment officers in BPJPM were comprehensively discussed. The proactive approach undertaken is expected to ensure that the welfare and interests of officers remain well protected in line with current human resource management policies.
In addition, closer coordination between PDRM Bukit Aman and BPJPM is anticipated to improve administrative efficiency while minimising bureaucratic challenges in cross-agency management matters. The strengthening of this strategic collaboration is also expected to enhance operational readiness and improve the quality of service delivery among officers in the field in a more effective and professional manner.
The success of this synergy session clearly demonstrates the strong commitment of both parties in upholding the principles of integration, professionalism, and good governance within the public service, particularly among national security agencies.
