EXCELLENT SERVICE AWARD (APC) 2025 AND JASAMU DIKENANG AWARD 2026 CEREMONY FOR THE LEGAL AND INSTITUTIONAL REFORM CLUSTER (UURI)

19 May 2026, Putrajaya – The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), YBhg. Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, officiated the Prime Minister’s Department Appreciation Ceremony 2026 held at Dewan Saksama, Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU), Putrajaya. The ceremony featured the presentation of the Excellent Service Award (APC) 2025 and the Jasamu Dikenang Award (AJD) 2026 to recipients from the Legal and Institutional Reform Cluster (UURI).

A total of 158 APC recipients and 26 retirees were honoured during the appreciation ceremony. The recipients comprised officers and personnel from the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU), Legal Aid Department (JBG), Malaysian Department of Insolvency (MDI), Protection Division (BPJPM), Judicial Appointments Commission (SPK), National Legal Academy (APN), Advisory Board (LP), as well as an administrative officer from the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM).

The Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BPJPM), is proud to recognise six officers and personnel who received the APC 2025 award, namely:

The ceremony also paid tribute to JPM retirees who have completed or will complete their service in 2026, in recognition of their invaluable contributions and dedication throughout their years in public service.

For BPJPM, the recipient of the Jasamu Dikenang Award 2026 was Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid, Director-General of the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department. Prior to joining BPJPM on 20 May 2021, he served as the Director-General of Government Security at the Office of the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO). Throughout his five years of service with BPJPM, he demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership, and dedication in strengthening witness protection functions and departmental security management. He is scheduled to retire on 14 October 2026.

The highest appreciation is also extended to the organising committee as well as all departments and agencies involved for their cooperation and commitment in ensuring the success of this appreciation ceremony. It is hoped that the recognition bestowed upon the recipients will continue to inspire excellence, integrity, and dedication within the public service.
