13–14 May 2026, Cyberjaya – The 2026 e-Procurement System Course for the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BPJPM) was successfully held at the National Accounting Institute (IPNCPD), Cyberjaya.
The course aimed to enhance the competency, knowledge and understanding of Protection Division personnel regarding the latest procedures and applications of the e-Procurement system. This initiative aligns with the government’s commitment to ensure that procurement processes are conducted in a transparent, systematic and accountable manner.
The programme was attended by the Director-General of the Protection Division, Prime Minister’s Department, Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid, the Deputy Director-General of the Protection Division, YDH SAC Noor Azmi bin Yusoff, as well as Directors and officers of the Protection Division.
During the programme, participants also benefited from knowledge-sharing sessions delivered by invited speakers with expertise in relevant fields. Among them were Mr. Muhammad Faiz bin Abdul Rahman from the Malaysian Green Technology & Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), who presented on Green Standards and Certification, and Mr. Mohd Firman Shah from Commerce Dot Com (CDC), the Ministry Coordinator (JPM) for the e-Procurement system.
Through this course, participants gained valuable exposure and a deeper understanding of the effective implementation of the e-Procurement system, while also reinforcing best practices in governance and public procurement management.
It is hoped that the knowledge and insights gained from this programme will be effectively applied by members of the Protection Division in their daily responsibilities, thereby contributing to organisational excellence and the delivery of high-quality public service.
